Bought this as I have trouble inserting my contact lenses. Found it a total waste of time. Lenses stick to cup and edge can be bit sharp on the eye if not gone in straight.

As a new contact user, I was having an extremely difficult time inserting the lenses. This has made it alot easier to insert and to see if it is right side out. Takes a bit of practice but much better than using finger.
Now, if you could come up with something to help keep open the eyelids. I have a problem keeping my fingers dry when opening up my eyelids. May try my eyelash tweezers! |

| Although this seems to work well for putting the lenses in, my main issue is getting them out, for which this is useless. Trying to hold your eyes open and pinch the lense with the very soft bendy rubber tweezer tool is pretty much impossible. I would love to hear from someone who has managed it and take instruction from them how to do it. |

| I am a heavy equipment operator and my hands get rough and very dirty with dust, oil and grease. I obviously don't want any of these materials on my contacts and don't always have the opportunity to wash my hands so this works great for removing or placing the contacts back into my eyes without actually touching them. |

| Im not one to touch my eyes so this is a good tool. I use it to insert my soft lenses, but I found flatteneing out the top of it works better than using it with the contact lens shape at the end since the lens seems to stick to it. If you dont want to touch your eyes or have "pokephobia" then this is a good tool for you. |

All of the reviews on this site are positive will they put a criticism on display??
I bought this tool primarily to remove my soft contact lenses as over the years my eyes have become drier. This tool proved to be of no use whatsoever because when you used the ridged end for lens removal the ridged area is too small and does not sufficiently 'grip' and remove lens from dry eyes. It simply breaks the lens & eye contact at the very edge with the rest of the lens remaining firmly stuck to your eye. So if you have dry eyes find something else as this just won't do it. And as it is a hygiene product it is non-returnable you will be stuck with a useless piece of rubber. Spend your money on something else! |

| I was never able to put contact in without someone helping me. The thought of touching my eye grossed me out. However, when I bought this product I was able to put my contacts in without anyones help. It did take me a few tries to figure it out. Great Tool! |
